TF Chemical's in-house chemical laboratory in Borgomanero follows each stage of the production process with the best technology, so as to guarantee complete autonomy and rapid operations. 


Among the processes performed by this department are sampling, bath examination and the issuing of monthly analysis bulletins, all standard procedures that TF Chemical makes available to its customers for a 360-degree service.

TF Chemical continuously invests in the technological renewal of its analytical instruments. One of the most important innovations is, for example, the Galtest.

    Galtest is a galvanic bath analysis that is indispensable for verifying

    • adhesion of the coating to the base metal;
    • possible internal stresses in the deposit;
    • presence of metallic impurities;
    • balance and content of additives;
    • optimisation of current density.

    We also perform

    • water analysis using a uv spectrophotometer - dr 3900;
    • non-destructive measurement of the coating thickness of galvanic coatings using an x-ray fluorescence spectrometer;
    • corrosion tests performed with the specific salt spray chamber:
    • atomic absorption aa - 7000 Shimadzu.

    Finally, via accurate titration techniques of the galvanic solutions, the company's experts can correct any defects during processing, thereby obtaining high quality finished products.
